The Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall feud is getting more and more ridiculous by the day. It was fun when Joan Crawford and Bette Davis did it because they were such icons and each of them knew how to bring the drama in fun and subtle ways. Kim and SJP’s feud is just the sad Jr. High School equivalent.
“Sarah is just going to leave Kim well alone, she realizes that there’s just no point in any further communication—especially publicly.” “Sarah was really shocked by Kim’s reaction, but she’s marking it down to raw emotions during a difficult time. Sarah certainly won’t be reaching out with an olive branch ever again, that was her final attempt. Sarah does plan on clapping back though, once the dust has settled and a little time has passed, Sarah is determined to get her side of the story across—and, not surprisingly, her side is very different to Kim’s. Sarah refuses to be portrayed as some kind of mean girl when in truth she’s far from it.”
If SJP really wants to protect her “golly gee” persona, the first thing she’s got to do is to take away Matthew’s Hedda Hopper hotline! I’m picturing Matthew in a little phone room built into their apartment with an old-timey phone on a pedestal that used to belong to Bette Davis (purchased at auction) and every time there’s a PR emergency, he rushes in there to alert the press.
SJP needs to let it go. Let Kim go, let SATC go, let caring about what people think of you go and enjoy her life as the richest of ladies! If she can’t do that, she should embrace her inner mean girl and just go for it; send Kim a dead rat with a lovely handwritten note that reads “Bon appetit!”.
